Hmm so i actually forgot i even had a blog for a while. Didn't have it bookmarked in my toolbar so completely slipped my mind.
Quite a lot has been happening since my time awake ended that Sunday morning of the 2nd of December. Quite a lot indeed...
So, Jordan's drinks were pretty fun. It involved me getting drunk for the first time in about 8 or 9 weeks. My tolerance was pretty low to start with but after that dry spell it further decreased it. Also didn't help when i hit the Rum that Jordan shouted me and a few cans of pulse. Needless to say, i was pretty drunk.
Although i did solve my Rubik's cube. Which i guess proves you can have some control/concentration when under the influence of alcohol.
I was quickly reminded of why i stopped drinking those 8 or 9 weeks ago. The sore head, the spinning room and the inability to walk straight told me i shouldn't have had anything to drink.
Oh well, I was having some fun. Broke a glass. Fucked that glass UP. Was quite unintentional though...
Sandy, Ethan, Tim, Eilidh, Sascha and Kristie all walked back to Saschas while i was still at Jordan's deciding what to do. I could either:
- Stay at Jordans for a while longer then go home, have my own bed and sleep.
- Leave and go to Saschas and play Counter-Strike all night to increase my no sleep hours.
My computer decided to stop working so i decided to give it some in-attention and go home.
I don't really remember much else happening from there until last week. Was pretty much just the usual generic holiday stuff you do. Like sleeping, eating, gaming, watching t.v and hanging with friends.
Last week i started working with my Dad in town on a job at Massey University, installing ceilings. Pretty easy, especially for the good pay i'm getting. Got my first paycheck so once cashed in i will be able to purchase an ethernet cable!
Also going to buy some 15mm Tunnels for my ears and get my industrial pierced. Was also thinking of buying 'The Orange Box' but i'll be getting that as a gift for Xmas.
I already downloaded Portal and clocked that. Very fun game, with re-playability value in it. My only annoyance, is the one which everyone has with it. It's too short! Man i wish it were longer. You're really only just getting into the game when it ends. Hopefully the sequel to Portal is something which will be worked on in months to come.
Sunday night was quite epic. Got picked up from my house at about 11:30pm by Hamish, who was driving Futters car. Crammed in the back was Futter himself, Jayson, Laurel and Ethan was in the front. Hamish took off and stalled at the stop sign with another car just behind us. Was lots of lulz.
Got to Jaysons and i decided to play some GH3. Played that on Hard for a solid 1 and a half. Didn't fail a song or boss. Was a pretty good effort from myself i thought.
A Mobil mission was imminent, with Jayson and Laurel getting cuddly we decided to would be best for us to leave and let them be.
So we all piled in the car and Futter rolled down Chatsworth Road with the engine off. We got up the dip and then headed down Gloucester Street with the help of a little bit of foot power. Then he started her up and off to Mobil we went.
Filled up a little bit and the Futter drove to Upper Hutt. I don't remember how many times he drove us around the roundabout but it was funny. Especially when we started drifting slightly.
Hamish had another drive down the backstreets near the BMX track etc. He pulled off a very dangerous stunt which we now refer to as 'The Grove'.
This maneuver requires much skill and concentration to pull off and shouldn't be attempted by any novice driver. What it consists of, is, driving into a grove which you have never driven down before, in the early hours of the morning and attempting to turn around at the end and leave.
Pretty simple in theory. But when in operation 'The Grove' can intimidate even the most hardened Grove Master. Hamish, a novice at best, decided to try out 'The Grove'. It all turned to shit quite quickly.
First mistake. Misjudging the u-turn. Hamish didn't give himself enough room and was forced into making a 3 point turn to exit. But the pressure from being in the enclosed grove was too much for him and he stalled. We started to panic. The windows were down and we were exposed to the outer world. "Quick! Hurry up!" we yelled anxiously at Hamish. I stared out the window at a flat right in our headlight beams. There was a boy racer car parked outside the property and my imagination told me that fierce and mighty people lived inside off the souls of young infants.
I started to roll up my window as Hamish tried to put the car into gear and reverse. Success! Backwards we went, as Hamish confidently turned back and straightened up. But he didn't put the car in gear and when he went to drive away he was left revving the engine. Not good when it is early in the morning and your lights are falling onto surrounding houses. Hamish promptly got into gear and sped off down and out of 'The Grove'.
His 'Grove' ability has now increased a little bit, but i still wouldn't trust him with the windows down.
Ethan was up next and we gave him a pretty good lesson of how to change gears etc. Although stalling a couple of times, did well.
Then it was my turn. I stalled straight up, pretty much had to because everyone else had. But after that minor hiccup, I was off. Down the back streets via the CIT and into Silverstream. Narrowly missed a hedgehog as it quickly scuttled from my driving line when i was close. Fail.
Drove through and around Pinehaven and back into Stream. Seeing Jesus and Moses walking from Stream on the way through. Futter started driving again and he took us to Stoked Valley.
First stop. Jamies. He wasn't awake so we went past Jonnys. Nobody could be bothered checking weather he was awake or not so we missioned it up George Street. We shall never do that again.
Then off to Lower Hutt via Farmer Crescent. We shall never be doing that again. Well at least not with the windows down.
Futter thought it would be a good idea if we went to Wainui. It wasn't a bad idea at all. Pretty fn actually. We ditched Ethan when he got out of the car to look at some chicks house and we raced around the block and almost missed Hay Street. Luckily Futter spotted it just in time and managed to turn in without crashing.
We got Ethan, drove down the road, grabbed a cone from through the window and then threw it at the side of a foodstuffs truck when we drove past it at speed down Wainui Road.
Then was the journey back, was quiet. Relaxing. Got dropped off home and slept well.
Expected plans this weekend?
Well Tim has a party/drinks at his house, not open invite, mainly for his Drama class but Hamish has been a kind man and invited many other people. I don't think i will go.
Town sounds like a better option. I could get some Vodka. Haven't had that shit in a looooong time.
Peace.
