Almost have the amount of credits I need to pass. Going for the minimum. Haven't been playing CoD4 much lately. Gonna try put in some hours next week.

Last Friday Jordan and I met AJ in town and we went to Iplay from 6:30pm to 11:30pm. Played CS mostly, was quite enjoyable, except I hate their mice.

When our time was up we left and got toasted again before going to KFC to buy some food. Then went back to AJ's and slept. Jordan and I woke up early and caught the train back to Stream. I didn't do much Saturday night, just stayed at home and played Craft with the others over Hamachi.

Tomorrow however, Is going to be epic.

Tent involved.

Weekend

Friday night consisted of going to Sascha's. When I arrived I quickly left again with Brody and we visited the stairs down the road for a brief while. Someone in a nearby house thought they were being inconspicuous looking through their lounge curtains, but they were actually casting a silhouette on the curtains and we could see their whole body. Was quite funny.

We headed back to Sascha's and found the others cranking in the back room. We joined them for another round and then went out into the bedroom.

Some epic Tony Hawks ensued. First we played Horse, I dominated greatly at the start due to my manual combo skills. But I was soon out mastered and we moved onto other game modes. I was beaten at a few game of god knows what, but you could shoot fireballs when you did a kickflip.

I don't know how the decision came up, but we went to Mc Donalds. We all ordered mass food and dined at the table. I have no idea what we talked about and I don't remember walking back to Sascha's.

Some other stuff happened here. Not sure what, pretty sure it was nothing of importance though.

Fast forward to later, we all headed to Mc Donalds again and I bought Jonny and myself large chocolate shakes, they were good. Then a few of us went to the range and obtained some golf balls. Was an epic journey back to the park, where I stashed a few and the others launched them all around. Walked back home and slept.

Don't remember Saturday. Oh god. Think I slept the majority.

This week. Stress over school work and credits. Fuck.

Design

Did another poster concept today. Had an epic feed and helped set up their new laptop. I was also given a late birthday gift of $50. I was pleased at this kind gesture. We also managed to obtain a free Candy Floss machine. I'm sure it will be used plenty by me.

Had a day off today, due to many reasons, none of which matter. So I played more CoD4, no surprise. While I was playing I came across this and it cracked me up for a few minutes. Got some computing credits at school and finished a part of another assignment. Got home and played CoD4 for a bit. Then my Dad came around and we went back to his and had a few beers over a few games of darts. Was quite enjoyable. Then I came home at roughly 8:30 and played CoD4 for a solid 4 hours, trying to get my Xfire hours up.

Tomorrow there are drinks at Sandy's house, not sure If I will go or not, otherwise I'll just stay home and play more CoD4. I don't know who else is going either, but I assume it's the usual. Going to see The Dark Knight tomorrow, I anticipate a good movie from the looks of the ratings on IMDB.

Snooze time.

Hehehe

Back To School

Didn't do much near the end of the holidays. On the Friday I caught the train into town and made my way to Manners to go to the Rockshop. Popped into Iplay to see Jordan but he still had some time left so I went and bought a few picks from the Rockshop. Guy gave me some free ones, can't complain. AJ met up with me and then departed back to his apartment, while I met back up with Jordan and then we headed back there too. Got clothes and shoes for Indoor Soccer then started our long walk up to the Uni.

I was exhausted just from the walk up, and when we finally made it to the gym I had already busted a sweat. When we first went inside and watched the other teams playing I was like D: but then when I saw the team we were playing I was like :D

They had 2 chicks on their team, who were more like guys, only cause' they were playing soccer. Maybe. The other 2 guys playing on our team were good so I didn't have to worry about anything. The game started and we pretty much dominated. Highlights were me actually managing to score, twice. Even nuts'd the keeper. But the best things that happened were Jordan owning the chick on the other team. When he was going for a powershit she ran in the way, Jordans leg followed through with the kick, went across her back legs, picked her up and she got airbourne. Hit the deck hard and hilarity ensued. I quickly composed myself to look like I was concerned for her well being but I obviously wasn't.

But that wasn't enough for Jordan. Later on, he took another shot and hit the chick straight in the stomach. Her reaction was "Blllarrfhgheejgfgfjlhmn". To which I laughed again, from pure instinct. Needless to say, we ended up winning, 9 - 2 I think the final score was.

After the game, I was sweating like a fat man chasing a runaway M&M. But I'm not fat, so maybe I was sweating like a white man in the ghetto would be more fitting.

Aaron ( I think that was his name) offered to give us a lift back to AJs so we could get our stuff and then head to Stream. I cruised in the boot, which was the most spacious rear luggage compartment that I have ever encountered. Although the sound of the big boor resonating straight through to my head made me a bit woozy.

Got to AJs, got our stuff, caught the bus from Courtney Place to the train station then caught that to Stream. I went home, had a much needed shower and then grabbed my bass and headed to Saschas with Jordan. Mostly everyone else was there. Angus and I jammed it out in Sascha new room, well the box room anyway. It's a cool room. Not big but everyone seemed to want to be in there.

Got pretty danked. Yet I was still playing my bass half decently, which was good. We went to Stream at some stage and got food. Don't really remember. But yeah. Ended up getting home at some time then having an epic snooze.

Didn't do anything the rest of the weekend and haven't done much at all since school has started. I got a lot of homework that needs to be done in the upcoming weeks, lame. Oh well I'm aiming for the bare minimum credits this year.

Also, I got CoD4 working. Turns out that one of the pieces of software from Asus that was bundled with my graphics card has a .dll that stops CoD4 from initiating. So I uninstalled that program because it wasn't needed anyway and voila. Works like a charm. I have all settings on highest and playing at max resolution 1920x1200 full HD. ^_^

SO that's all I've been playing this week, putting in the hours. Started a new profile on Tuesday and I have played 11 hours already, which is alright, Level 30 at the moment. Also changed the Field of View through the console as it is only set to 65 by default. I will do an image comparison.

This is what the field of view is like at default settings.

And this is what the field of view looks like when you change the field of view to max. Through the console using /cg_fov 80.

Yes, what you will be aiming at will be a little bit smaller, but I don't think it makes a difference, the advantages outweigh the disadvanatges. For example: With the extended FOV I can now see one of my team mates next to the bin. If that had of been an enemy I would not have seen him at all. I think it also makes the gun look better, when it's reloading and when you are throwing nades. After I had changed the setting I swear I was doing much better. Almost got 100 kills in a match, but not quite.

Alright, time to play some more.

Body Mod Center

Decided to try start some work for my design portfolio. Wanted to do a poster concept and started it the other day, took me awhile to finish it off as I had trouble coming up with ideas for stuff but got it done in the end. I don't think it turned out that bad, could be some improvements, but it's good enough for me. Now I gotta do about 5 more and a final, sigh.

Started using Fruity Loops again awhile back but soon forgot about it, this video has however made me want to purchase one on these and proceed to use it for weeks on end. I really wanted to play CoD4 again after finding this old screenshot from when I played on the cracked servers. I don't know If I had posted it before but I thought it wasn't too bad.

Downloaded the Spore Creature Creator Demo too. I quite enjoyed it although it can get a little boring for me sometimes. Here's a screen of a match I had the other day on CS, haven't really played Assault much but it's a pretty epic map once you know it well. Too bad my gun skins don't work on GameArena servers.

We've been having some epic Craft Hamachi LANs too. I haven't taken any screens of anything but I'm sure I will If we have another epic match. Drinks at Sascha's house on Friday so I've been told. Shouldn't be too bad, doubt I'll drink though. Maybe I'll bring my bass though If Sascha is keen for a jam a bit earlier.

Trips

Last Wednesday was pretty good, because Wednesdays are the best days of course. Sandy came over to mine in the evening and we tried coming up with plans for the night. We though Saschas might be a good idea If it was only Sandy, Sascha, Jordan and I. But we couldn't go there, instead Sascha met up with us down at the box. Now that the place is no longer a school they had some of the classrooms on trucks ready to be transported somewhere else. The place looked way different and more open, was cool.

Walked down to Stream and sat down somewhere and played the saxophone. Then we walked to New World so I could redeem my free Moro bar. It was delicious, but I was too paranoid to check for another winning one, didn't want to stare at the bars for ages. We then went back to the school and chilled for awhile. I think we went to McDonalds at this point, but I may be wrong. Sascha bought a wrap thing though and munched on that. We left there and headed up to Ellies so that Sascha could obtain some Saxophone ammo. Landed ourselves in Dunns Park and played the Saxophone a little, went back to Stream, got bored and decided to go over to the Church. But there were people there so after witnessing an epic train crossing our path we decided to go to the river.

It had been dark this whole time by the way, and crossing my school field in the dark is pretty fun. There was really low fog and everything looked creep, the smoke coming out of the chimneys was perfectly straight. There was no wind at all and the air was cold. We got to the fence and discovered it was bent over, so we walked over it and then got to out first obstacle, the bridge. It wasn't too hard getting over, only a bit sketchy cause' it was dark. Once we got over the bridge we then had to cross the paddock. The paddock was full of shit and we were dodging it to our best extent, I finally started using my cellphone light and we were a bit safer. There were many bogs and slicks on the way that we either narrowly avoided or almost slipped over in.

Once we made it to the river we were shocked to discover that they had changed the orientation of the rocks on our side. Who the fuck changes rock orientations? There used to be no sand here. But now there was. There was a fucking beach. A miniature one. We found ourselves a nice log to sit on and played the saxophone again for awhile. The lights from the driving range was lighting up all the fog around the hills and above the river, it was coming towards us and looked really amusing. We did some wondering about how random it would be if someone was out walking their dog at this time along the river bank. (It was like 10pm) Then we wondered what they would think about us, being out on the river rocks at this time. But then, they wouldn't think that, because why the fuck were they out at such a weird time and in such a weird place too? We then left log.

Walked down the river trail and got to the Silverstream bridge. Then we made our way down beside the railway tracks and met the mysterious black and white mustached man peering out the window from his very thin house. He didn't seem very inviting so I left him to look at what he pleased. Kept walking around randomly until we ended up back in Dunns Park. PLayed the Saxophone for the last time and we then left Sascha to depart to his home while Sandy and I headed back to mine. After we had arrived, I prepared munchies and we then watched 300. Epic when, er, under the influence.

Woke up the next day feeling great.

Octopus

Did a short tutorial on Illustrator, trying to get to know the program more. Angus met up with me at my house and then we made our way to Stream, met Ethan there and then we headed into town. Bought some beers from Metro and with our hax cheats we obtained free bars. The weather was shit and we walked to Manners to get some BK. There was a table with a seat load of retards across from us and 2 of them knew Angus. So they came over and talked to him. We gave them shit and then we left.

Went to AJ's apartment to meet AJ, Hamish and Jess, but they were already at the bus stop and they didn't see us when we walked past. So met them and then caught the bus to Island Bay.

Once we got there we headed up to Imi's house and set up the garage. I started drinking but then stopped after 3. Couldn't be bothered drinking. The others however got pretty trashed. We got a lift back to Courtney Place with her mum and then we walked to the train station. We met the others there and had to wait for about 45 mins for the train. Ethan and I decided to take a walk so we departed to Shell. Got back and AJ and Brody had decided to just go back to AJ's. Ethan and I walked down the tunnel and we saw Brody attempting to stay upright on the stair and AJ trying to help him. These 4 chicks were acting all worried and when Ethan and I saw them we started giving Brody shit. The chicks were like "Oh are you their friends?" we were like "Yeah, who cares, you can go, they'll be alright." Then they thought we were gonna help Brody but we didn't we just stood there and laughed at him and the chicks were like "You should be helping him." But we just ignored them and then walked off. They made it to the bus anyway and managed to get home.

We caught the train back to Stream and then walked back to Hamish's. Had a good sleep there and then woke up and went down to where the computers are and Brody was there too. Laughed at him for last night then started a masterpiece on MS Paint. Not really sure what's happening tonight.

Holidays

So my holidays have started a day early. Should be a good night tomorrow. Angus and I are planning on heading into town and going to Underground Arts. Then we'll probably head up to Imi's house and meet Jordan and whoever else is there. Drinks are to be had there apparently. Might be able to crash there, hope so, would make it better cause' we wouldn't have to go home early because of the bus.

I've been busy the past 2 days overclocking my CPU. I have an Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 which was 2.13ghz at stock. The multiplier is locked at 8x and the Bus speed was set to 267mhz. After bumping up the Bus speed a little bit I managed to get to 2.8ghz. Benched it for a while and then upped the Bus to 375mhz. Now it's on 3.0ghz and the DRAM Frequency is at 470mhz from 400mhz it was at stock. Benched it again and it is stable. This is using the stock Intel fan and it is at stock voltage. This is an average overclock for this CPU and I suspect I could bump up the speed to about 3.4ghz easily.

Gears Of War used to have slight stuttering problems at the start of levels. I thought I'd be getting it around now, but they sent it away on Friday morning, getting delivered to me at 3pm. I was pleasantly surprised, as you would be, but a little confused also. This is because when I checked my account balance online the money still hadn't deposited into their account. Ended up going through on Saturday morning anyway. They must have trusted me.

The screen I have now is the Acer P241W 24". It's a very nice looking display, has HDMI, DVI and VGA ports and boasts an HD resolution of 1920x1200. It sits on a silver base and the screens bezel is a nice glossy black. It also has a 3000:1 contrast ratio and a ery quick 2ms repsonse time.

When I had set it up on my desk I quickly realised I would be needing a new one. So I asked my Dad if he had any recycled Rimu left over to make a desk with and it turns out he did. That evening I went to the pub with him for a beer and Mr Hicks and Treadwell were there also, found that amusing, even though it's not unusual to see some of the teachers over there for a quick one on a Friday.

Got to my Dads house and had a few more up there, sorted out the wood for my desk and then went back home. Greg had been around with Futter to pick up my old screen, which he had purchased. They were going to town apparantly, so was I. So I quickly gave them a txt to see If they hadn't left yet and If I could get a lift in with them. (As I was planning on catching the train) They were still at Jaysons so they came and picked me up and we headed in.

After arriving in town we had to wait for the others who were on the train, they knew whose house we were going to and none of us did. We went into Metro and bought some beers then tried to find a map of Island Bay to see If we could just drive there without them. We found a map and found the others. Let them go catch the bus and we drove up there with the help of the map and the map master 300 (Jayson).

Gregs beers were warm, Jayson and I's weren't. When we arrived at the house we just sat outside in the car to wait for Jordan and the others to arrive because we didn't want to invite ourselves into their house when none of us knew them. The house was up high looking down on us and I took a piss on the ground facing the house and someone looked out the window mid urination. Lulz were had.

They arrived, we entered, we sat, we took over music. Not much happened except some chatting between one another. Went up to the backyard for for some GRASS. It tasted good. Jayson started up a drinking game, I soon failed and wish I had had Export and not Tui. Jayson pretty much owned the game. Then you lost the game. I sat on the couch after that.

Now around this time there was a huge dilemma going on, nobody knows what really happened. Except the people that were involved, who aren't going to tell the truth anyway. So what pretty much happened was Ethans chocolate got stealthily taken and stealthily eaten. Ethan raged and almost left. More lulz were had. He was eating his can of Pringles and had another can unopened. Jordan stealthily took this can and hid it. Ethan didn't know where it was, I said I'd help him. I got up to ask Jordan where they were so I could have a munch and then I was going to take some and give them back to Ethan. But Ethan thought I was just going to get them and eat them myself, so he got up and tried to catch Jordan with them. I had them though, I sat down and had them hidden. After sitting there for a while I opened them while Ethan was playing Piano. I had a few and then he noticed. I bolted to the kitchen and put them on the cabinet. He struck my 3 blows to the back. Cheap shots, Niggers everywhere.

Then he didn't end up eating them all and I got the rest anyway.

The chocolate however... Is still a mystery.

Or is it?

The others had to catch the train, so Futter drove them to the station and then came back to get us. They had cooked us some pizza which we ate and then departed shortly after. Quite rude, but BAWWW.

Went to Mc Donalds and purchased Apple Pies and Sundaes. They were very satisfying.

Got home and slept.

18

Now I can buy stuff I could already obtain easily before, yay.

Got the day off anyway, which is good. We have work day tomorrow also, so that's pretty much another day of nothing.

Last Friday, Angus, Sandy, Jordan, Hamish and I went to town. We caught the train in with Tim who was gigging that night at Zeal. We needed to buy some stuff from Cosmic Corner so we went there and talked to Woody for a while. AJ was having a feed and taking his time so Hamish went ahead and tried to buy some shit without I.D. Woody didn't ask so all was good. We got 23g of some random herb for $10 and got some Salvia too. I bought a torch lighter than ran out just 2 days later, which was a shame.

On foot we set out for Frank Kitts Park but stopped short and decided to sit in the rock garden. After that we went to Shell by the train station and met up with Futter and Brody. They brought a 5l keg of Heineken which Brody kept squirting on the ground.

We attempted to mission it to the path above the Terrace tunnel but we walked up a bridge and we were about 200m away from it. Lulz were had then we set off again.

Some impromptu parkour was agenda and a few of us jumped off and up shit on the way there.

Once we got there, we found other people sitting down on the path. We walked by and exchanged friendly greetings with them and then sat down on the concrete ledge. Everyone else was losing their testicles sitting on it, thinking they were gonna fall. So we sat on the hill and chilled out there for a while.

Cranked some Salvia while some other guys, who looked like they were in their mid 20s were sitting just off to the side from us, indulging in some illegal herb.

After that we headed back down and went past Zeal. The others went to see If there were any free sasauges while Hamish and I went to KFC. We got food and then headed back to the Train Station. I pretty much fell asleep on the train and then when we got off I bought 2 snicker bars and munched on them. Got home and slept.

Next day was pretty uneventful, Dur hur.

Yesterday however, Sascha asked If I was interested in playing Pantera covers, I agreed and Angus was keen too. So now we're doing that. Learning 2 songs at the moment. Mouth For War and The Art Of Shredding, both are easy I just gotta work on my pick skills again, as I haven't played with one for ages.

Last Weekend

So, last weekend was quite amusing.

Started off with a short visit to the local pub. Had a few with my Dad then went back up to his place. Had a few more there and then played some darts. After gaining some particular warez and making sure Treebeard was safely in my pocket, I left and made my way down to the school.

There I met Jordan, who had an interesting piece of paraphernalia with him. So we sat down and made good use of it. We chilled down there for a little while before packing up. Futter was on his way.

He picked us up from the car park and then we went to Stream. Here I purchased myself a large portion of SSP. (That's Sweet & Sour Pork for you insolent fools who don't abbreviate food items)

Some how I was convinced on purchasing this meal by Jordan. When we got back to Jayson's we consumed it heartily.

Things were blurred from there on, I'm not sure of the order of the events that came after but It's good enough. We chilled out down stairs for ages and I almost fell asleep on the bed. Futter tried to scare me a lot, I was like :O but he was like 8D.

Greg drove us to Mc Donalds where AJ and I bought food and frozen cokes. Jordan stole AJs Coke like he stole my SSP. Then we went back to Jaysons.

Hamish and I went to Stream. I bought a coke, It was delicious. then I went home and slept. Good dreams were had.

The next day I didn't get up to much until the evening when I was picked up by Greg and Jonny. We went back to Gregs house and didn't get up to much. Started a game of circle of death but then we decided to mission it down to the store.

Ethan drove.

Well, tried.

After a jumpy start we were heading down the road. I thought we were going to crash into an oncoming vehicle, burst into flames and our skin would instantly vaporize. This did not happen to my pleasure.

Once we had made it to the New World car park Ethan just stopped across 3 parks and he said he'd park it properly while we were inside. We exited the car and I knew that he was going to stall. Sure enough the sound of a stall reached my ears and we laughed. While we were inside we took guesses on how long it would take him to park. I bought 2 blocks of chocolate and then we left.

We when walked around the corner to the car park we found the car in the exact same position. Much laughter was shared and we hopped in. Determined to make him stall again, we started taunting him. Sure enough when he tried to take off he stalled again, and again, and again. It wouldn't have helped that we were yelling and laughing at him to make him nervous.

It also wouldn't have helped that he was trying to take off in 3rd gear.

But he eventually took off with a screech of the tires and we made it back to Gregs.

Circle of death went pretty well, I substituted my beer for food. So I was only eating chocolate. Jonny was slowly getting drunker. This was good. Eventually Jonny got the last pour card and had to drink 3 full glasses. 2 were just beer. The last was the vessel which had wine, beer and bourbon and cola in it. He took it down, but I think this is where he can't remember anything.

Futter drove Brody, Jonny and I to Hamishs Girlfriends party. Upon entry I was in a trance with the black lights on the roof causing everything to glow. There were an abundunce of women but I was on the herb. All I wanted was a sandwich. I greeted some nigs. Taking the urine. They did not see through my bullshit and thought I was a straight gee.

I made my way through to the kitchen with Hamish. Many dance offers were received. Many declined invites were given. I was connected with the black lights and their glory. Techno Tetris was resonating from the kitchen and I decided to dance to that one song. I tried to get Futter too also but he would not. I sat down most of the time, watching Jonny attempting to sit on the couch and failing. Midori shots came out of no where and I happily took them.

Futter took Brody home as he had work.

May I also add that Jonny was wearing bare feet the whole time.

Only then did he realise he had no shoes and want to look for them. Futter tried convincing him he left them at Jamies but he was sure he had left them in the car. So they left to look for his shoes. But to me it looked as if they had ditched me there. My heart sank. I was scared. So far from home. My bed.

Then they came back in and I was happy once again. I did some more sitting and watching the pretty colours move around in the lounge for a while got offered some BBQ'd goods but denied them and then we left.

Got back to Jamies, decided it was a stupid decision to deny the BBQ'd goods and that we were retarded and left. But we couldn't go back now.

A good nights sleep on the couch and then in the morning back to my house for some much needed internet time.

Stuff

Made an image combing techniques from a few tutorials I read. I did, so went with him to get some.

Got some Flame.

Got home, chilled them.
